Same here. Started around Nov 30. When I open xfinity stream app on my LG OLED 42, closed caption is defaulted on. I have to turn it off, but same problem each time I open the app. It's ONLY Xfinity Stream App. All other apps such as peacock, Netflix, Max don't have this issue.There is no "OK" button to exit the feature. Selecting exit just zaps you out of the movie and when you go back in the subtitles are still on. Waiting for the selction to return to the movie does not work as it just stays on for minutes. Very annoying.
