The fact that there is a "canon" ending to these games is stupid. The canon of KotOR messes up KotOR 2, but the only reason to canonize these games was to shoehorn the characters into other works and both work with vague endings. As an example, in KotOR Revan kills Malak, then leaves, regardless of alignment.

SWTOR basically assumes KOTOR ends with the light side ending, which obviously wouldn't make sense if I chose to take over the galaxy in KOTOR.
