This is incredibly broken and can easily be abused, as the dragon can be killed really early and the early dragonscale armor is a lot better than all other armor types that your enemies have then. Dragonscale comes from killing a fully grown space dragon. You'd have to kill Hrozgar to get it. Shit, this would be a game changer if it is.

Your ships' weapons should be entirely focused on +armor and +hull damage, since that's all the dragon has. A few (10 - 15) tachyon lance battleships have typically taken out both dragons without too much trouble, though I always make sure I turn on the edicts for extra energy weapon damage beforehand. 50 frigates and you're done.
