The license allows the tuning engineer/specialist to be able to program your ECU using the ArcServ software. The license gets loaded onto the chips directly and or is hard-coded onto the board that is added to your stock ECU, which then allows Z1 to to perform their tune. Gotta have it if you want that tune!!
